One of our most important goals as the premiere Jewish Fraternity is to give back to others through philanthropic endeavors and community service. Alpha Epsilon Pi men practice "Tikkun Olam," or "Repairing the World" in Hebrew, contributing not only to their local communities but the global community as well.
In only two-years time, we have raised over $3000 for Virginia Social Services and Camp Unali. However, we would like to change that. Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, the Jewish Fraternity of North America, is pleased to announce that our chapter will be hosting our third annual philanthropy event, Jubilee, October 3rd-14th. Jubilee is a carnival themed event that allows students to have fun while donating to a great cause. Jubilee hosts a variety of games such as a dunk booth, pie-a-brother, corn-hole, and various other exciting games. This year the Omega Epsilon Chapter has pledged to raise over $10,000 for our philanthropies Camp Unali and SACHs.
Camp Unali is a local Harrisonburg Summer Camp that allows children who are battling cancer attend camp for a week with a friend to get away from life’s difficulties. This camp is free to the children and needs our help in keeping the doors open. Save A Child’s Heart, better known as SACHs, is an international humanitarian project, based in Israel, with a mission to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries who suffer from heart disease, and to create competent health centers in these countries. SACH is dedicated to the idea that every child deserves the best medical treatment available, regardless of the child’s nationality, religion, color, gender or financial situation.
In addition, we will continue our annual sale of "One Life" bracelets, as it is our chapters saying that children only have one life to live and they should be able to make the best of their childhood. So help support our "ONE LIFE" effort and donate today!
